Nestled up high in the San Bernardino California Mountains is Green Valley Lake. This 4 season year round resort is a little known paradise. In between lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, off the 18, is a 3 1/2 mile road ( Green Valley Lake Rd ) up about 7100 ft, is a small community vacation resort.
With peak summer temperatures in the 70's, a well stocked trout fishing lake, boating, swimming beach, hiking trails, national forest campground, weekend cabin rentals, summer weekend music festivals and many more activities for your enjoyment you will find Green Valley Lake - a peaceful, beautiful vacation place.
In the winter the average snowfall is more that of Big Bear City (bring chains of course) and enjoy the clean plentiful white snow.
In our small town are restaurants, gift shops, post office, mini-market, real estate and cabin rentals. Also present is a tennis court, basketball hoop, horseshoes right next to picnic tables with BBQ's in a nice shaded area in the center of town. Stop by the museum for a little history on Green Valley Lake.
Ideally located off the 18. Only 35 minutes from San Bernardino, just 20 minutes past Lake Arrowhead and 30 minutes before Big Bear Lake, you can find much to do without the stress of traffic, major tourism and at a cooler climate. |
